Coastal Payroll Now Offers API Integration with Ease

Coastal Payroll is pleased to announce a partnership with Ease. As one of only nine partners in the payroll space, Coastal is launching an Ease API Integration beginning October 1, 2023.

The integration will provide continuous monitoring and increased accuracy for brokers and employers. Employers keep benefits deduction and demographic information in sync and decrease duplicate data entry since employees are set up in only one system. Ease benefits data will transfer to the Coastal technology partner platform, isolved, and receive back employee information and demographics on a 24-hour cycle.

Ease, which was acquired by Employee Navigator earlier this year, is the leading broker-centric HR and benefits software solution for small businesses. The two products will continue to operate separately but over time many of Ease’s features will be incorporated into Employee Navigator’s platform.

What are the benefits of the Ease/Coastal API Integration?

What data is transferred via this API Integration?

Ease sends pay items and amounts and the Coastal technology platform, isolved, sends demographic and employee status information.

How frequently will data sync?

The integration will sync every 24 hours.

How long will it take to set up a client?

Approximately 30 days.

When is the best time to implement Ease?

Ease can be implemented year round with the guideline of, at least 30 days before or 30 days after an Open Enrollment.

Who is involved in the integration process?

The Coastal team, Ease team, broker and client work together to plan and set up a successful integration.
